About

Hi! Welcome to Body Aspirations, a place where I can share my ups and downs along with any advice and guidance I can give to those also on their fitness journey. We all have Body Aspirations, and my hope is that we can all reach them!

Here's my story so far.

I've always been chubby but not to the point of unhealthiness. That is until High School and my freshmen year of college. I reached the point where I became obese. However, I did not take this seriously at all. I would tell myself it was "diet time" but I would only last 1 week before I fell back into my bad habits. It wasn't until Halloween 2013 that I began to take my health seriously. I saw this picture of myself on Facebook that a friend took:

Me at 197 Pounds
I was absolutely SHOCKED. And immediately after I felt so uncomfortable in my own skin. This was not okay and I was going to do something about it! I started counting calories so I could get a realistic idea of what a healthy diet looked like. Within a year I was able to drop about 60 pounds. I've had my ups and downs and fell off of the wagon a few times, but my drive has never been stronger.

I am now at a healthy weight of about 130 pounds. So what now? Well dropping that much weight has caused me to be quite flabby. My tummy is that of a woman who has given birth. My goals now no longer revolve around weight loss but rather working out to become toned and fit as well as maintaining a healthy diet.

I want everyone who reads this to know that EVERYONE is capable of reaching their Body Aspirations. I'm no expert, but I want to do my best to provide any readers with some information that has helped me and could help them as well.

Me about a year later (130ish pounds)

**As I am not an expert please please please consult your doctor before starting a new exercise regime or drastically changing your diet**

**The things recommended in this blog worked for ME, there is no guarantee that you will reach your goals in the same amount of time as ALL BODIES ARE DIFFERENT**
